The Single Corinthian Mpingo Earring is part of Kinraden’s collaborative collection with designer Mark Kenly Domino Tan. Inspired by the pillars of ancient Greece, the Corinthian earring is designed in 18k recycled yellow gold and smooth mpingo wood to convey a “bold, expressive, and sculptural beauty,” the designers say. It is crafted with a fine wire that pierces the ear, with one end of the wire open-ended, so the drop appears to be partially suspended. Below the wire sits a striking, graphic droplet in polished mpingo wood, that makes an elegant statement.
